Three ways to work with us
Choose the model that fits your project stage, budget predictability, and how much flexibility you need.
Fixed-price projects
Best for MVPs, proof-of-concepts, and projects with clearly defined requirements. We agree on scope, cost, and timeline before starting.
When to use it
- • You have a clear vision and documented requirements
- • Budget certainty is critical for fundraising or board approval
- • Project duration is 1–3 months
- • You need a fast launch without ongoing iteration
How it works
- 01. Discovery phase: we document full requirements and risks
- 02. Statement of work (SOW) with itemized deliverables
- 03. Fixed quote with milestone payment schedule
- 04. Signed contract and NDA before starting
Payment structure
- • 50% upfront deposit to begin work
- • 25% at mid-project milestone (typically after design or backend completion)
- • 25% upon completion and passing user acceptance testing (UAT)
What you get
- • Complete source code with full IP ownership
- • Deployment to production environment
- • Technical documentation and architecture diagrams
- • 30 days of free bug fixes after launch
- • Handover training session for your team
Risks and limitations
- • Changes to scope require a formal change request and re-quote
- • Less flexibility for experimentation or pivoting mid-project
- • Assumes requirements are stable and well-understood upfront

Time & Materials
Best for evolving products, unclear requirements, or projects where priorities shift frequently. You pay only for actual hours worked.
When to use it
- • Requirements are still being discovered or validated
- • You need flexibility to pivot based on user feedback
- • Project duration is 3–6 months or longer
- • You want continuous deployment and iterative delivery
How it works
- 01. We work in 2-week sprints with sprint planning and reviews
- 02. Time tracking for all engineers, designers, and project managers
- 03. Monthly invoices with detailed time reports and task breakdown
- 04. You can adjust priorities, add features, or scale the team as needed
Hourly rates by role
- • Junior engineer: $80–$100/hour
- • Mid-level engineer: $120–$150/hour
- • Senior engineer / architect: $180–$250/hour
- • UI/UX designer: $100–$140/hour
- • DevOps / infrastructure: $140–$200/hour
- • Project manager: $90–$120/hour
Payment terms
- • First 3 months: prepay at the beginning of each month
- • After 3 months: invoiced at month-end, Net 30
- • Detailed time logs and task summaries included with every invoice
What you get
- • Full transparency: every hour is tracked and documented
- • Continuous delivery: working software every two weeks
- • Flexibility to change direction, reprioritize, or pause
- • Ongoing communication: weekly syncs and Slack access
Risks and limitations
- • Total cost is not fixed and depends on scope evolution
- • Requires active involvement from your side for sprint planning and feedback
- • Not ideal if you need strict budget certainty for approvals
